V Cards in the pokemon TCG are cards that are extremely powerful, by having good moves and huge hp totals. V cards can be played at anytime, similar to EX and GX cards of previous sets. However, the V cards come with a new disadvantage. Whenever a V pokemon card is knocked out in a game, the player who defeats it takes two prize cards from the prize card area.
