December's deck archetype of the month is the Elemental HERO cards. Based off Japanese superhero comics and tv shows such as Ultraman and Super Sentai, the Elemental Heroes are superhero monsters that protect the weak and fight evil. Wielded by Jaden Yuki in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX anime, these monsters became a staple of the game due to their popularity. Such famous monsters from this archetype include Elemental Heroes Avian, Neos, and Clayman.
